Songxue Translation Studio Exhibition Translation Teacher Feedback Collection

It was really quite a surprising experience to work as an interpreter at the Hong Kong Wan Chai Baby Products Exhibition this time! This translation was mainly a Hong Kong exhibition project with Song Xue Translation Studio.

The exhibition is mainly a Korean company exhibition of baby products, many of the world's best quality baby home furnishings are produced in South Korea, I this time in the A company as an interpreter, A is Korea's most famous baby crawling mats manufacturer, many Korean mothers mentioned crawling mats, the first thought is A. A booth a total of four people, including a Korean Chinese sister, a South Korean brother and a and I work together as an interpreter girl. There were four people at the A booth, including a Korean Chinese sister, a Korean brother and a girl who worked with me as a translator. The two supervisors from A were very professional in their treatment of customers and seemed to have a lot of work experience. On the second day of the exhibition, the Korean supervisor told me and the other interpreter to be more proactive, so I saw the other interpreter girl become very proactive that morning. I realized that she was just familiarizing herself with the products on the first day, and once she was familiar with the products, she showed her professional level of translation and conversation skills with customers.

It was my first time working with other translators, and I didn't expect to meet such a wonderful person. I felt encouraged by her positivity and became very enthusiastic about my work, and it was obvious that many more foreigners came to me to inquire about our products. In those two days, we received a lot of contact information and orders from customers, and for the first time, I felt that being an interpreter was so fulfilling. In the past few days, I received countless foreign customers, including people from Turkey, Canada, Indonesia, Singapore, the United States, Russia, etc. My eyes were opened to faces, accents, conversation styles and cultures from all over the world.

This translation experience has improved me a lot, and I hope that I will have this opportunity to work with Song Xue Translation Studio next time.

Exhibition Translation Teacher Feedback

Tonight's conference interpreting encountered unexpected situations such as temporarily arranged speakers and poor on-site radio effects, and the accuracy of the interpreting needs to be improved. Thanks to the on-site counterpart and Mr. Song's understanding, the atmosphere of the whole meeting was very active. In contrast, the simultaneous interpreting teachers had to work even harder. There was no way to equip the site with a sound-proof simultaneous interpreting box, and the main interpreting audience was concentrated in places with more noises, which invariably increased the difficulty of simultaneous interpreting, so both simultaneous interpreting teachers had to work very hard. Both simultaneous interpreters had a hard time. Mr. Song was also very busy with the project, thank you for your understanding.
