Hello, everyone.

I'm Assuna Song, the founder of the studio

I'd like to tell you about my career as a translator.

I graduated from the English Department of Shandong University in 2009. I came to Shenzhen for my first job as a foreign trade salesman, a relatively small foreign trade company. At that time, my boss took us to the Canton Fair. I learned a lot of communication skills at the Canton Fair. At that time also received a lot of intentional customers, there are some customers are on-site to the cash order. I found that my communication skills are still quite strong, and I also like to deal with foreigners.

I quit my job in 2010 and became a freelance translator, working with translation companies in Shenzhen, and the feedback from my clients was good, so the companies tended to introduce more business to me. The feedback from my clients was good, so the translation companies tended to introduce me to more business, and from 2011 to 2012 I had more clients than I could handle, with clients coming to me almost every day.

In 2012, I set up my own Song Xue Translation Studio, which is a predecessor of my current company. At that time, I knew a lot of colleagues in Shenzhen, and we introduced business to each other.

During the period from 2012 to 2017, I myself have been on the front line of the market. I have done a lot of large-scale conferences, including the first exhibition, business negotiations, and more difficult technical support. I have also traveled to many countries, almost more than 20 countries business accompaniment. I have also done some high-level meetings, such as governmental, delegation, training meetings for one or two hundred people.

After 2017 then, my main focus will be on the operations piece. Because I can't run on the front line all the time, and I don't have so much energy. In addition, there are more customers, and there are also many other language needs, I may have been too busy. At this time, I focus on the operation.

When I'm operating, I'm also matching the client's needs with the most suitable candidate. I can probably gauge what kind of difficulty the project is and what kind of interpreter will be needed. Whether I need to send a younger or an older person. What kind of personality will I match with the client?

It's also been eight years since 17. Then, after 2023, we have received many, many more requests from overseas customers. They are in the Middle East, North and South America, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. We can match our customers with local personnel in each place, which can save customers a lot of travel expenses.

That's because I myself come from a translation background and belong to a technical background. In the matching process, I will pay more attention to the translation level and the emotional intelligence of communication. Since we did this localization preference, the price/performance ratio is still quite high. Plus some small languages: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean and other small languages, we have also accumulated a lot of related peer resources. For example, Persian, Finnish, Swedish and other rare languages, we have peer resources.

We do proofreading of the translated documents one by one, including myself. To ensure that all the output is accurate and free of ambiguity. Especially for these contracts, which are more important. So we will review it sentence by sentence. Then the text that is handed over to the client meets his needs, but also achieves the credibility. And logically, I ensure that it is accurate. Because I am a translator myself, so in this regard, I will be more rigorous review.

Then over the years, thanks to the trust of all of you, we should have almost served more than 10,000 clients. We have served more than 10,000 clients, both large and small. Our reputation is also relatively high. When it comes to the snow sister, everyone knows, will give a thumbs up, because we have never been the reputation first.

So in the days to come, I will also continue to work hard, with all the studio teachers of various languages, teachers in various regions, to move forward, not forgetting the original intention. We will strive to provide more satisfactory and cost-effective services to our customers.
